Full address of the sender and recipient must be written on the package and on CP-71 and CN-23 custom declaration form that includes:-

Full name,

Post box number (If any)

Street no.

City and

Phone no. (If any)

Show the Parcel to custom and price estimation to the counter clerk.

To protect your items from damage, we offer a range of package. The price ranges from 5-15 birr.

If the parcel needs authorization from drug administration control authority, Ministry of Agriculture or Ministry of Tourism, you should present a certificate.

• To Receive

The recipient must have:-

Renewed ID or Passport or Driving license or Trade license.

If the collection is to be made by  an agent:-

The collector should have an authorization agent ship paper and must pay 20 Birr for agent ship service.

Receive advice paper that has sent through post box (P 4-1 and P 4-2).

Pay, if the parcel requires tax payment.

If the parcel needs approval from Drug Administration and control Authority,(DACA)

Show the Parcel to Drug Administration and control Authority,

Monday – Saturday 8፡30-12፡00 A.M

If the parcel is not collected within 10 days, there will be 0.75 cent’s storage fee per day.

PROHIBITIONS

Goods which expose postal staff or mail for danger because of their nature or package.

Explosive or flammable or Radioactive materials and other dangerous substance

Article which are prohibited by office of destination.

Living animals except leeches, bees, silkworms authorized by pertinent bodies.

Narcotics such as morphine, cocaine, heroin, etc.

Immoral articles.

International Parcel Tariff

International tariff is calculated for each country and weight as per Universal Postal Union convention. So it is too difficult to put here all tariffs.

Home to Home service

This is one of the service that are given by the parcel post process, that  collecting and delivering  to and from the customers place according to Monthly or weekly bases.

Conditions of payment

• For parcel post items to be forwarded to foreign and local places the customer shall pay postage fee in accordance with the tariff rate.
